Children with physical disabilities receive a lot of funding to enhance their mobility and the majority of their time is spent focusing on improving their physical abilities. There are also many college scholarships for physically disabled children, however the success rate of these students is extremely low because they are not prepared for the rigorous nature of a college education. The EXP Foundations’ vision is to provide scholarships to college prep schools so that physically disabled children can lead their lives with dignity and maximize their potential through the use of their minds.

I am
I am determined and hardworking.
I wonder how I can change the world and make it a better place.
I hear silence, but laughter and giggles flow around me.
I see myself presenting my vision and making my dream come to life.
I want kids with Cerebral Palsy to know there is a community that welcomes them.
I am determined and hardworking.
I pretend my visions are happening now.
I feel that I can help people change their stars.
I touch the world and feel it grow.
I worry that I won’t be able to do this.
I understand that I am here to make a difference.
I am determined and hardworking.
I understand that this will not be easy but it is possible.
I say that it only takes one person to change the world.
I dream that we are united as one.
I try to imagine my dream coming true and I see a place where all children laugh and giggle.
I hope that the world will know that I was here.
